i'm in love with this author's writing. the scenes feel so vivid, i particularly love the image painted in my head of edmond, with tears in his eyes but a smile in his face while unwrapping his gift, or topper leaving a single red berry in his shoe (that's the cutest thing ever btw), or blade looking at his reflection seeing the humanity within him. love when the yaoi harem game has interesting lore and incredible fanworks <3

very first bookmark of the year and i broke my heart with it. my eyes are tired and blurry from the new year, but god this was such a beautiful experience.
first of all, the pacing was perfect and writing style was enchanting, one usually doesn't come across second pov and it made it even more interesting to read. and eiden's story, his pain, his highs and lows, everything and everyone who broke him, and the way he molded himself to be the person he is now... god. the clanmembers were so sweet in their own way, so patient and just what eiden needed.
gotta be honest, i was able to imagine these scenes so clearly, amd the pain felt so real that i physically felt the tension, and i shed a few tears. i love how this is a story about pain, scars, and learning who you are and to let yourself be loved. i loved so many scenes in this fic that this bookmark would never end if i mentioned them all, but this one made me smile
[Like clockwork, they all come back. Sometimes with gifts. Sometimes without notice.
