“Seriously? What’s a sugar baby?” Bai Lu’s brow furrowed, suddenly seeming fixated on Mu Sicheng’s words.
“Look, I was only joking, you can’t seriously-” Mu Sicheng tried to unsuccessfully backtrack, but it was already too late. His friend demanded to know what a sugar baby was, and Sicheng had no choice but to tell him.
Bai Lu immediately hopped onto the computer that had been gifted to him by Mu Ke, and began typing furiously, all while refusing to let Mu Sicheng know what he was searching up. A sinking feeling entered Mu Sicheng’s stomach, and he had a sudden feeling he’d done or said something that was going to make things go terribly wrong.

the idea of everyone going "bai liu NO-" after he's presented with the existence of sugar babies is so funny to me, the first chapter is so interesting and well-written that it pulled me in, and i genuinely experienced a moment of grief after seeing that it was an orphaned work. author, wherever you are just know that i think you're an icon

It rings in Kim Dokja's ears as a barely concealed shiver passes through him. Yoo Joonghyuk then sets his head down on Kim Dokja's shoulders, as one of his hands comes to rest on his waist. Same spot as the morning. Kim Dokja gets branded once again. "Sushi," he answers, as he leans into the man standing behind him.] Kim Dokja you're either in denial so deep you're swimming with unknown creatures or in need to call HR asap
i was having thoughts that yjh was in a relationship with kdj in his head but all he needs to do now is say it out loud. which he won't.
["Soojin won't eat dinner if she eats sushi now," comments Yoo Joonghyuk. Kim Dokja's reply is swift, even as he feels Yoo Joonghyuk's lips trace his neck. "Soojin won't eat dinner if she eats anything now."] i call bullshit you're married with a child
the entire chapter was me yelling at kdj to get his head of the river of denial and fuckiNG REALIZE THERE'S NOTHING PLATONIC ABOUT THIS. it was painful even for me. his child calls you papa. you have established sleepovers you HAVE A ROOM IN HIS HOUSE and wore his clothes and took care of his child and leaned on him and let him get his hands under your blazer. this is stupid and sooyoung please slap him on the head since i can't. sorry gonna go read the next chapter now
chapter 3 made me cry. i'd have to paste the entire chapter in order to explain what made me cry, it's just that i love soojin, kdj loves soojin and yjh and yjh loves soojin and kdj. they're SO SWEET and the best family and soojin pointing kdj as her parent ans aaaaAAAAAAAAAA
also customer service kdj and the office shenanigans are perfect. i love them, i love the author, i love this fic
