Things don’t feel right, and Jonny Rasputina, engineer of the starship Aurora, isn’t sure why.
When Gunpowder Tim wakes up in a muddy tunnel on the moon after being flung headfirst through the window of a gunship on his final rampage, his eyes feel like they’re on fire.

Summary
Sausage wanders through the fog, not quite sure how he got there. Mud clings to his boots, and the shadows of trees loom in front of him, twisted limbs appearing out of the thick grey clouds ahead, curled as though trying to reach out and grab him.
Two figures take shape ahead, one far taller than the other. He rushes to greet them - people! At last! - but stops short when he sees their faces.
Joel, a much shorter Joel, one made of clay and without a beard, laughs happily as he’s twirled in a dance by an alarmingly tall, blue-skinned woman with axolotl features and needle-sharp teeth.
“Hello?” Sausage calls out, but neither seem to register his presence, Joel simply continuing his laughter as the woman smiles.-
Who knew that there was more than one spooky fog-swamp around? Not Sausage. He’s not too sure where he is, but the further he walks, the more familiar faces he sees.

Nightmare leaned forward against the rail that ran along the edge of the balcony, eyeing the collapsing sky with a look of distaste as he sipped his tea.
The yellow gradient that surrounded the Doodle Sphere was slowly coming apart, the admittedly beautiful view marred by an ever-growing number of cracks and glitches. It was a sight to behold, a grand spectacle that the king of negativity would have rather enjoyed watching, were it not a clear sign of the multiverse's increasing instability as they grew closer and closer to an ending none of them wanted.OR
The multiverse is collapsing in on itself. No one is taking this as seriously as they probably should.
The chronological beginning (and end) of a non-chronological series of oneshots centred around Cross and Blue as they travel through different multiverses and realities, searching for something that can repair their home.
(Basically, think of the regular UTMV and AUs, but make it way bigger, about ten times worse for your sanity, and somehow even more confusing than before. That is the concept behind this series.)
