Chan, his mentor, was a legend, meaning the media claim that he is the reason for Jisung's success. Jisung wants to win the Monaco Grand Prix, and prove he is his own racer.

“What’s funny?” They both look up as a third person joins their table at the restaurant. It’s Hyunjin, always fashionably late. Minho nods in greeting.
“It’s funny that my boyfriend of four years suddenly wants an open relationship so he can sleep around with other people,” Minho says calmly, as if talking about the weather. He thinks he’s come to terms with it by now. That, or he’s seconds away from having a breakdown.
Hyunjin matches Felix’s wide-eyed expression.
“I’m sorry, backtrack for a second. He said what?”
Or: Minho’s boyfriend of four years suggests they open up their relationship and sleep with other people. So logically, Minho fucks said boyfriend’s brother.

Jisung huffs, frustrated as he fails to find the shirt he was looking for. He grabs a plain black one instead, pulling it over his head and adjusting it so it comes all the way down. Now he needs a hoodie. He grabs his phone and heads over to his closet.
“Hey, it’s not my fault Minho hyung is a cutie! I told you he was nice!”
He flips through the hoodies in his closet, settling on a grey one with the black outline of a cat. He supposes it’s better than the one with the rabbit giving the middle finger (definitely not kid friendly).
“Yea, but you didn’t tell me he was exactly my type. You withheld information!”
“What was I supposed to say? My hot cousin needs a babysitter?”
“Well, it would have helped!”
Or: Jisung is a struggling post-grad student in need of some extra money, and Felix's cousin just so happens to need a babysitter.

Well it legit happened to me, so say hello to my future husband!” Jisung pulls the boy out from behind him and pushes him forward. The poor guy looks completely flustered, cheeks red as he holds onto the painting as if it is the only thing grounding him to the earth.
Professor Cha raises an eyebrow, addressing the boy. “Does Jisung even know your name?”
The boy shakes his head and Jisung pouts. “Aw, come on, that’s not fair!”
“Jisung, go sit down,” his professor says, sighing.
“Mhm, one minute.” Jisung digs around in his bag and pulling out a big purple marker. He pushes up the boy’s sleeve and scribbles his number across the entirety of his forearm in the plum colored ink.
“Don’t forget to call me, babe,” Jisung chirps, capping the pen and grabbing his painting from the boy’s limp arms, walking to his seat.
