   Summary

   After Requiem for a Methuselah, Kirk makes a comment to Spock “if only I could forget.”

   And Spock… complies. What begins as compassion becomes a habit. Spock begins erasing the women from Kirk’s mind with melds the moment Kirk starts to experience heartbreak.

   Spock tells himself that it is logical. He is helping Kirk. Spock is lying to justify his actions.
