Summary
When your whole world gets flipped upside down, what do you do?
Do you rush to protect your friends? To get to them before someone or something else can? To make sure they're alright and safe? Maybe instead you lash out. Maybe you run out with a weapon to make sure no one thinks you're an easy target. Maybe you bare your teeth at every threat to hide how scared you really are. Or perhaps you give in. Let your body rot with the realization that nothing matters anymore, that the life you knew is over and you will never get it back. Perhaps you shut down and allow others to take charge of your well being because you certainly can't anymore.
What will you do when monsters start to roam the streets? With a gold wave of energy in the sky, your friends now grow scales and fangs with poison that causes people to grow bark for skin. Your neighbors kids grow fluffy ears and tails with a sense of smell that misses nothing. Your family grow soft feathers along their arms with talons sprouting from their fingernails. Creatures that seem to come from fantasy are now in front of you, just as confused and scared as you are.
How do you react when you see the bodies in the streets?

Summary
With as much strength as she could muster, she takes a deep struggling breath and repeats it with a hefty struggle, each sound wobbly and wheezy. She doesn't even make it to the coos before she feels like she's suffocating. Memories of bright yellows, soft browns, green, red and black flash through her mind and she tries again, except this time she skips all of it entirely and hoots once.
It's a deep sound, if one weren't used to it or hadn't known better, it probably would have sounded scary. But she knows these kids. These fledglings. Of course she does. They're hers. She takes another quiet breath and attempts it again, but it's much quieter this time, and Phil ushers her to stop, or she could potentially hurt herself even more.
If her breathing was already raggedy and troubled, now it was labored, as if she'd just finished running a marathon. The hero does his best to help, whistling and softly chirping at her to keep her awake. "It's alright, you'll be alright, help is on the way I promise. Hang in there."

Dream is alone.

Summary
Triplet gods are transported to an unfamiliar world after one of them tests the boundaries of its laws, stripped of their immense power and forced into mortal bodies after they refused to be turned into Aeons and become puppets of the world trapped to a path, they're separated. They feel stifled and trapped in the small confines; but as long as they know the others are alive they will learn to live with it. They just have to deal with the fact that they barely have a sliver of their original power.
The people around them keep calling them 'Emanators' though.
