Summary

Whisked off in the middle of the night to some backwards fort that had old gender stereotypes at its heart. Tony loses everything several times before he’s able to carve out something for himself. Then he comes to realize along the way he’s built a family that endures with him as he changes society accidentally in the fort.

Hongjoong might just give him that chance, assuming Seonghwa can keep him alive, of course.

“You have guessed, then. I wondered,” Seonghwa replies, his voice just as soft.
“The door was a pretty big red flag,” Hongjoong agrees. He’s shaking and extremely small. “Please…”
“Sorry, Hongjoong. You know what the alternative is.”
The scalpel is sterile, still in it’s packaging, and very very cold in comparison to his sweaty, slippery skin. He does wonder, with the fuzzy detachment of trying not to think about it, whether that will make this hurt less.
