After Adam died, Adam woke up straight away after Eve ate the apple, and hell was created – this was before Abel, Cain or any of their kids, and all the sin and evil that came with them.
Adam took care of Eve, since she was his old wife after all. But what Lucifer told him made him think too. After all, she ate the Apple of Lucifer and Lilith, and Lilith left him for Lucifer.
And does it really matter? He hadn't seen her after her death.
