Summary
Faeries are a species who have lived on Earth since nature was created. They have a deep innate respect for Mother Earth, and She loves them just as much. Humans, short-lived creatures who only seem to look inwards, have forgotten this loving race. Some humans had ancestors that never let them forget how real faeries are, and these family units are always full of hunters. These families are why faeries are nearing extinction. The remaining faeries run, and run as fast and hard as they can, trying to live as long as they can before the hunters inevitably get them.

“Yes. I took my violin and all the gold I could get my hands on and left for Athkatla, Waterdeep, Trademeet, hells anywhere that would have me. I played for crowds and private parties, whatever I had to do to survive,” they admitted quietly. “And I lived life as a man.”
“But you aren't one,” it wasn't a question.
“No, I’m not. But it's easier to let people think that I am,” Tavares answered, “and it's a lot more comfortable than letting them think I am a woman.”
“If I’m being completely honest, darling, I don't really care,” Astarion commented. Tav’s head snapped up, the rage inside them building to a crescendo. The vampire quickly realized his mistake and added, “About what's under your clothes! By the hells… you understand how incredibly fascinating I’ve found you thus far, don’t you? You think I would care about what… oh what was the phrase you used? What equipment you have?”
“Others have found my lack of equipment… offendable.”
This is my version of the tiefling party scene with my Tav: a nonbinary wood half-elf sorbard from a noble background who is just a little too proud of their draconic bloodline.

But like any good… person, she could see he wasn’t ok, despite his poor attempts to conceal it with his wide, strained grin.

With the volume to the max, and high definition cameras recording from all the good angles, the group in the darkened room has a first row seat to the explosive fight between Pomni and Jax.
It quickly spirals from there, and all they can is sit there and watch as it all unfolds.
