Summary
Supernatural creatures keep trying to lure away Robert because he’s like catnip to them, which is funny until it’s not. What does Malevola have to do to keep others from snatching away their dispatcher?
Or,
Kinda 5 times someone tried to steal Robert, and one time they used that to their advantage (and then still had to prevent someone from taking him home)Bookmarked by DaniBoo202

Summary
The story behind these lines from A Brawl is Surely Brewing
“The point is: the members of the Z-Team range from overprotective to downright possessive of him. Blonde Blazer asked him to cover the shift of another dispatcher when they called out sick, and the Z-Team almost went downright feral upon finding out he had worked with a different group. Needless to say, that wasn’t going to happen ever again. Robert is always happy to help, but it would probably be more helpful for all of the SDN if he just stuck to his group.”
Or, an excuse to write more overprotective/possessive Z-Team lmao

Summary
It was not a choice he agonized over or even thought twice about.
“It's you or them, Mecha Man. They're villains. Do you really think they deserve to live more than you do?”
Yes. A million times yes.
Robert's caught by a supervillian that gives him a easy choice: he can live, or his reformed heroes can live. To him, it's an easy one.

Summary
It was supposed to be a joke.
It was supposed to be a one-off thing to mock the team for how immature they were being.
So why the fuck was it working??

Summary
“Come on, kid,” someone says, rubbing his sternum with bruising fingers. Dennis desperately tries to swat the hands away, the bone already sensitive from the weight of the patient from just moments ago. “Open your eyes, Whitaker, come on. Look at me. Open your eyes.”
He twitches, his limbs flexing in odd and tight angles as he tries to expel the memory of the pain. He tries to speak, not to answer the question but to ask for help, help, anyone, anyone at all, his mom or one his brothers or the youth pastor who gives him bandages when no one is looking, just, God, please, please—
The best Dennis can manage is a deep gurgle from his throat.
*
When he gets seriously injured after an altercation with a patient, Dennis is forced to reveal parts of himself he would rather keep hidden.
