For the FMA Bing Bang 2020
A sci-fi retelling of FMA. In which Alchemists are known as Manipulators and work with electricity, it's the future but the military is still corrupt and the singularity hit about 400 years ago - closely followed by the android revolution.
But that was all a long time ago. Androids are taboo, cyborgs are looked down upon, so of course, Edward had to go ahead and turn his brother into the former and himself into the latter in order to save their lives from their own mistakes.

Summary
Tokyo was the place to be. The place to be for hunters, gangs, ex-heroes and rats. It had more traffic than anywhere else, the evacuation efforts had been centred here. The first anti-zombie efforts were focused in Tokyo, along with the first shelters and lines of defence. Hell, a whole section of Tokyo had been torched so thoroughly by Endeavour that all that was left were the husks of tall buildings and still all the travellers he spoke to talked about Tokyo with a dreadful buzz.
Everything began and ended with Tokyo.

Chapter One: Time Loop
The next Event involved a very dramatic crash from downstairs as the front door is relieved of its hinges. Al yelps and looks to Ed with fear-stricken eyes because he doesn't have the foreknowledge that the door murderer downstairs is one of the biggest softies for kids Ed knows. He just doesn't show it very well.A muffled "Thank fuck" is heard followed by a crackle of alchemy as Ed presumes the door is fixed. It better be fixed, without any creaking either. The bastard has done it enough times, he's got to be a pro by this point.
Chapter Two: Role Reversal
When Roy is fifteen, he learns something terrible, burns down the house of his dearest friend and does much the same to her back.Mere days later, the Fullmetal Alchemist arrives and, in what could be considered a fit of distasteful nostalgia, takes him under his wing.

Somehow he knows that when the play button was clicked, everything should have run in a smooth chronological order before coming to a rough close, final words, final credits. But it never gets that far, scrubbing back and forth between events as though the timeline couldn't, wouldn't be read.
By pure happenstance, Peter gets sent back to the day after he got bit. This changes some things.
