She's got to be the finest specimen I've ever seen, I think as I stare out from my small shrubby hiding spot, my prize standing literally naked before me. When I set out to find a mount for myself I had expected to spend weeks camping out alone by trails or clearings waiting for the perfect mount to trout by. Not only had I found one in the first two days, but this wasn't some common Human or Tiefling, or even an Elf, she was a bonafide Amazonian warrior. Strong and healthy, she was just waiting for a plucky young halfling girl, like myself, to come around and break her in.
A plucky young Halfing comes across a lone Amazon bathing in a stream and thinks "Wow that would make a great horse"

And then she called him one night from a frat party, ranting drunkenly about how her friends had abandoned her and there were creepy guys and before she’d even finished her sentence, Del had been outside and on his board.

This kid looks an awful lot like a person. And what's more, he's the same age Sammy would have been.
