Summary
Sephiroth has the power to switch bodies with someone by making eye contact. Shinra capitalizes on this by having him work undercover for the Turks. Until a mission goes wrong: Sephiroth is discovered and taken prisoner. But the more he sees of his captors, the shakier his loyalty to Shinra gets. He doesn't know how he'll explain himself to his handlers when he returns. He doesn't even know if he wants to return.
The mission: infiltrate Avalanche by switching places with their new leader, Barret Wallace.

Barret has taken the child he found at the Northern Crater back home. But he doesn't want to believe that the seven year old might actually be who he seems to be. After all, Sephiroth was a monster. And this is just a kid - they can't be the same person.
Particularly not when the kid in question seems more at home in a lab than a home and acts like the sky is something unknown and terrifying.

Summary
The Deep Space Nine crew is investigating strange lifesigns found on Empok Nor when they discover a stasis chamber hidden on the station. Once they open it up, the even stranger man with silver hair and green eyes is not what anyone expected to see.
The last thing Sephiroth remembers is dying in the Northern Crater, and the last thing he remembers clearly is the basement of the Shinra Mansion. He doesn't know where he is, or who these people are, or how he ended up here, but he's going to have to find out in order to get home.
Assuming there'd be much of anything left for him on Gaia if he did.
