Summary

“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Rocket opened his mouth to reply, and then just simply pointed behind Sword.
Confused, he peered over his shoulder, and then gawked at the sight of his bloodied wings for a full minute without saying a word.
“What the- wha- there’s- oh my gods, I’m a bird, Rocket,” were the collection of words that spilled out of Sword’s mouth.
The demon seemed to collect himself, before he started laughing hysterically. “Oh my gods. I have wings, Rocket!”
