INSPIRED BY JEWWI'S FIC!!!
Most of the plot has generally resolved itself and Kim Dokja has successfully detached from all the unnecessary strings which threatened his life and his comfortability. It took him some intellectual sparring (bless his innate talent for conjuring up eloquently verbal fallacies that could pass as a fact if one was none the wiser; which was technically almost all the mobs and villains in this accursed B-grade novel fantasy world.) while minding some few cuts and bruises that he had garnered while disturbing some few nobles.
He would never know how the Duke would look at his unconscious body which was battered with ugly bruises and wounds. Never will he feel how tight the Duke would hold his body as he peacefully dreamed away from his injured body as a result of challenging a few arrogant, power-tripping nobilities.

"Tell me, what's your name?" the man asks, smoothing back into his composed demeanor as if the laughter had never escaped him. Kim Dokja, caught slightly off-guard, retorts with a playful, "Guess."
He can tell the man is trying to maintain an air of indifference, but Kim Dokja likes to think that underneath, the man is a little surprised. “Fool. You must be to engage in banter with someone who's been discarding human limbs into the river,” the man retorts. And sure, Kim Dokja did cheekily tell him to guess, but 'fool'? That's a bit much. Feeling a mix of indignation and annoyance, he lets out a snort.
Or, Yoo Joonghyuk is a Serial Killer who is desposing evidence. And luckily, or unluckily, Kim Dokja was nearby, preparing for his suicide.

It disrupted his entire being, and for the first time of Kim Dokja’s life, he didn’t know what to do. What to say or how to act.
He could only reach his hands out to the alpha, to pull him in and press their lips together, kissing him like he’s never done before. Whisper Yoo Joonghyuk’s name back to him, because to Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk meant everything and anything to him.

Joonghyuk startled awake, gasping, as he came to a sudden realization: he loves Kim Dokja, he wants a family with him, he wants a quiet and peaceful scenario free life with him.
Or
Joonghyuk has a dream of living a happy domestic life with Dokja and comes to the realization that he loves him, only to fall into despair upon the realization that it’s too late: Dokja lies in the hospital in a coma.
He then dedicates the next five years of his life to bringing Dokja back, and upon seeing his omega wake up, he falls into a feral state and sequesters Dokja away to protect him.
