“If I bite you, I make you mine.”Pursuing Peaches when she's only interested in Mario has repeatedly gotten him nowhere. It's long past time he should've been considering other options. Bowser's known that for a while now. And by some luck of the stars, Luigi ends up in his clutches. A relationship with Greenie will get him the pretty much the same thing he'd sought most from Peaches all along: new trading partners, and a bridge to peace with the other kingdoms. Bowser knows an opportunity when he sees one...and he sinks in his teeth.

The deal sets the two men off on a year-long journey of navigating their feelings for each other and what a ‘significant other’ really means. Eventually, they both realize that they don’t want just a silly little marriage pact, but something more real and meaningful with each other. The party is air conditioned enough that it isn’t sweltering even with the crowd of “youth”—and yeah, some of these partygoers are definitely kids—and they have actual Coke, not just unspiked punch, so it’s not as bad as it could be, Chad figures.
And then he steps further inside, and it gets a whole lot worse. Because there is Ryan Evans, corded mic in hand, rocking the rickety platform like it’s a Broadway stage. He’s all glitter and confidence and perfect pitch, which should be horrifying but somehow isn’t, and he looks impossibly happy even on the stained carpet of a makeshift stage, performing for a disinterested crowd.

Summary
Zuko goes into exile with a scar, a mission, and a wife.
The girl wears ill fitted ceremonial silks. She is too thin, with jutting bones and hollowed eyes. Dirt smudges her cheek. Her lower lip has a healing split in it. Gaudy as her finery is, she wears it like prisoner’s rags.
All of this Zuko registers in the time it takes him to reach the dais and bow. Every muscle aches with the remembrance of what happened the last time he knelt before Father. This time there is no begging, no roar of the crowd, no burning. Still—Zuko’s grateful to stand once more.
Slipping into soldier’s parade rest, he waits for what will come next, all too aware of the girl’s defiant body next to his.
“I am told that this is Katara of the Southern Water Tribe,” Father says, cruel amusement oiling his words. The phrasing makes the girl sound like a thing. “The last waterbender of their pathetic tribe.” Flames conceal all but his shadow, yet Zuko knows from long experience the exacting blade of his father’s smirk. The smirk he must surely wear now. Because he has built up his insult and now he lets it fall. “Your bride.”

Massimo smiled to himself. Alberto would never just accept the invitation, would he?
“Hmm. Without Giulia around, there will be space in the house. Might be easier to keep to the schedule if you stayed.”
“Stay? Here? With you?”
“Yes, here, in the house, with me.”
Silence again. A long one. Massimo risks turning his head to look at the green-eyed boy, who is looking at him with a blank expression. As soon as Alberto realizes Massimo is watching, he shakes himself and offers up his usual cocky smile.

His voice cracks even higher on that word. He’s moving like a possessed performer, all twirly and flourishing gestures. He keeps pacing around the padded room, circling in and out of Bruce’s vision.
‘But I know you,’ Joker points out, voice turning husky. ‘Oh, I do. I know you better now than I ever did. I know what makes your motor run. And you know? I’m flexible.’
TAGLINE: Bruce realises he’s let Joker in too deep, and tries to cut the cord between them.
