Summary
After his big plan to rule the heavens goes down in flames, Vox finds himself powerless and out of luck. With no influence left and nowhere else to go, he somehow ends up at the Hazbin Hotel — and to his absolute horror, he’s stuck working there as the new receptionist.
He hates the job, he hates the guests, and he really hates that deer-looking sinner who won’t stop smirking at him. Most of the others have already lost their patience with him, but Charlie still insists on believing there’s some good left in him.
Of course, just when things couldn’t get worse, new problems start showing up at the hotel... and it doesn’t matter how much Vox complains, he’s getting dragged into it anyway.

Summary
Alastor’s attention shifts from the pointed tip of Vincent’s cane to the face of the man calling him. He stares at him like a deer in headlights, trying to discern if he should expect to feel a sharp pain in his stomach soon or knock the man out; he doesn’t lower his blade.
Their breathing stays uneven, as if the adrenaline has yet to wear off, the alertness sharpening their features, the dread of anticipation in the air. Neither of them knows the right words to voice any of their concerns at present, despite charming millions with their charismatic personalities; because every word could be used against them.
His gaze drops to the peculiar weapon again, and Vincent draws it back, possibly apologetic for defending himself against a guy who’s covered in blood and holding a butcher’s knife. Alastor wonders if such an eagerness to please could make a decent killer; is this his first time doing this?
So he opens with that. “Have you done this before?” It’s direct, calm, as if he’s conversing with a pal over a cup of coffee; at this, Vincent seems to pull himself together, practicing the familiar motion of dusting off his clothes; smearing more blood on them in the process.

Summary
It was a single moment. A second of inattention that could have cost them the victim, could have gotten them caught, or worse; he could have gotten them killed. Well, for a moment there, he thought he got himself killed, for sure. He underestimated their prey, had only the instinct to jump in front of Alastor when he saw them reaching for the knife. There was a muffled sound of something ripping and then nothing else, a burning pain on his side numbing his senses - when he caught his bearings again, Alastor had already wrestled the knife back and seemed enthralled in the task of hitting their victim's face repeatedly with the back of the handle.
Violence dressed him better than any tailor.vincent gets hurt during a murder with alastor; alastor takes care of him

Summary
Hell is other people. Purgatory is being a twenty something weatherman with the memories of a being a media overlord who had the entirety of Hell wrapped around his finger.
Sent back to his mortal life with a chance to "do it right this time", Vox has a problem. The Angels have installed a patch in his soul: the Pacifist Protocol. If he tries to kill a rival, poison a boss, or throw a punch, he is paralyzed by blinding agony.
He cannot claw his way to the top if he can't use his claws. He needs a loophole.

Summary
People often hold romance in high regard. To others, kissing and breaking virgin-knots are euphoric moments, cherished deeply for the chemical release of endorphins they trigger. Alastor has tired them and found that gates to his dopamine remain steadily locked. Romance is an ill-fitting key. What activates those "feel-good" chemicals in his brain is the sight of his victims' life draining from their eyes, the sight of his victims' life draining out of them in red rivers.
OR: the deal that alastor made with rosie is different. of course, he wants to continue his fun in hell, but he wants to have his fun on earth too, for as long as possible. the deal becomes that as long as he remains the strongest influence in broadcasting, alastor can stay paused in time, paused in health, paused in fun.

Summary
He tries not to expose the betrayal in it, that the wanting more, however inevitable, is both insult and injury. If Vox knew he had an in to his heart, he'd take it before either of them could even blink, and Alastor would find his chest cavity empty, something lost, something broken, something in the hands of another. He won't be so foolish, not again. Even if he could love, even if he could twist his heart into something resembling affection, not once, in any universe where their paths crossed, would he offer it up.
It is, as always, hard to move on - for everybody but Alastor.

Summary

Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.

“I still protest this stupid exile,” says Vox from where he’s sitting at the kitchen island, bourbon at his elbow. He might not be a cannibal, but he has to admit that the smells turning in the kitchen are making his fucking mouth water. “I’m not a fucking live grenade.”
Alastor glances over, all sharp teeth and apron strings. “The last time you were in the kitchen unsupervised you burnt the bottom off my best pot,” he says, and the crackle of FM static in his voice sharpens at the memory.

Summary
In retrospect, he should've known better than to trust Valentino's champagne-filled apologies.
One drink later, and Vox found himself navigating Hell from the relative vantage point of a mouse, held at the questionable mercy of those around him.
In the end though, perhaps this was the catalyst he needed to mend past complications once best left dead and buried.
