Summary
It turns out Bradley is an inveterate cuddler.
He seeks out Jake wherever he is—sleeping, reading, doing odds and ends around the house—and wraps his huge, overwarm body around him. He’s like a particularly persistent octopus, winding his limbs around Jake and nuzzling at his neck. Jake groans long-sufferingly and snarks each and every time it happens, but secretly he can’t get enough of it.
(In which Jake is still often freezing and Bradley, his human furnace boyfriend, feels morally obliged to do something about it at all times.)

Jake’s hands stilled for half a second. He looked up at Bradley, at the way his big brown eyes sparkled with mischief, at the familiar line of his mouth when he smiled like that. God, he loved this man. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” Bradley said, completely sincere. “I told you before. You cooking? Sexy as fuck. I’ve got the best seat in the house.”
Jake remembered the night Bradley was referring to. Remembered the way Bradley had admitted it, like a confession he hadn’t meant to let slip out. Remembered how Jake had woken up the next morning and made breakfast wearing only an apron just to see the look on Bradley’s face again.
He cleared his throat and tipped the dried chiles into the pot. “Flattery will not get you out of doing dishes.”
Bradley gasped, holding a hand to his chest. “I’d never!”

“What’s goin’ on?” Jake asks, jabbing his fingers hard enough into Coyote’s ribs to prompt an inelegant yelp and open up enough space for him to jam his head into the conspiratorial knot of their friends.
“Trying to figure out the odds of Bradshaw being down to shave off the mustache for two hundred dollars,” Nat tells him, helpfully; if Bradley didn’t know better, he’d swear there was a note of mischief in her voice.
Jake visibly balks.
“Absolutely not,” he says, in a horrified tone.
“That’s what I said,” Fanboy says, over-serious. “No way he’s doing it for less than four hundred.”

“What do you mean, they’re gone?”
“We can’t—we haven’t been able to locate the lieutenants, sir. Search and rescue is going to make another pass but we have been unable to find them,” the sailor tried to explain.
“They—what about the dye or their beacons? They were barely 300 yards off the shore when they went in,” Viper argued.
“The beacons appear to have malfunctioned, or, at least, three of them have. The one beacon never activated at all.”
“And the dye?” Jester persevered.
“At this point, it’s been hours, sir. The dye will be present but so diluted and dispersed it won’t be a very accurate location tool, especially as the sun starts getting lower in the sky.”
The two Top Gun instructors exchanged dark looks before turning back to the serviceman in front of them.
