Bradley’s footsteps pause on their ascent of the steps across the stage from where Ice makes his way to the stage. Keeping his eyes set firmly on the young man across from him. Ice steps forward, reaching for the golden wings, the last set remaining, and gathers it into his palm. Cradles them as if they were the rarest substance on earth.
The sight of Bradley could render their worth meaningless for all he cares.
