Summary
When Leo arrived at his stasis, he was proven right. It being found was no accident, and his paranoia was more than justified. The void trap could only be the work of Spoke.
But when Leo finally realized what the other pearl meant, he laughed. Oh, Spoke had made things too easy. All Leo had to do was make a few adjustments to the void trap, and Spoke's life would be in his hands.
There was so much he'd be able to do with Spoke gone. He could build up his team, bring it back to how BAT was in the glory days. He and his teammates-
He didn't have any teammates anymore.
What was even waiting for him after Spoke's death?
What did he even have left to live for?
He knew he had to kill Spoke. He refused to die until Spoke was dead. But was there even any point of living, after that?---
Leo checks his stasis and finds the void trap Spoke planned to drop him into, with Spoke's pearl next to his own. He knows he needs Spoke dead, but there's nothing left for him after that. He sets a trap to kill them both.

If Parrot had been paying attention to his calendar, maybe he could have used this information to rationalise how utterly exhausted he’d been the entire day, like he was constantly one step away from toppling off the edge of an all-too-familiar, towering obsidian wall.
But he didn’t know. He couldn’t have known. It was simply another act of betrayal, not from his closest friend, this time, but by his own body.

Spoke is too much of a paradox for Minute to figure out, but paradoxes be damned, Minute will find a way to help Spoke, if that's the last thing he does.
