Somewhere down the line all of Sam's routines change and it's all because Gabriel grossly overstays his welcome.

The world finally came back into focus. Loki started to register where he was. A hard wooden chair. In the Archives. In the TVA. He felt fabric grasped between his fingers and looked down to see he was clutching Mobius’ sleeve. The other man stood over him with a concerned look on his face.
