Ex-General Frey Haendstrom lives alone with his old dog, Boy, in the outskirts of a small countryside town called Hivranns, company nowhere to be seen. His wife dead and living alone, he one day sees a teenager outside his door, holding a map and saying that she wants him to travel with her to a treasure where no one has ever gone to. The hallucinations of his dead wife telling him to live a life and the memory of his long gone brother's words clinging to his soul, he begrudgingly agrees.
Luanne Gray, a lonesome cleric to the Gods, lives alone in the Freezing inside of an old cathedral with no one to guide her through life and bitter cold outside, only statues of old gods and worn books as company. Sick of waiting for something to change, Luanne goes to leave and finds a map to a long forgotten treasure. She journeys to the Blackened Deserts to find someone who can help her in this endeavour. Enter Frey Haendstrom, a grieving ex-general who she asks to help her.

Kronos was very angry with Luke and sent him to Ancient Greece as punishment, thinking that he would suffer. The Fates predicted this in his destiny and gave him a task that could change the lives of demigods in the future. Also, during his trip to the past, a side effect occurred and now Luke is forced to remain in the body of a teenager as he travels, but he finds the love and care he has long dreamed of, and an unexpected turn in his life that he did not expect.
