Summary
It started, as so many things do, with a tweet.
“Hey, Hollzy! Look at this! It’s so you and Roz,” Evan Dykstra said, shoving his phone in Shane’s face. Shane squinted at the slightly blurry screen, willing his eyes to focus on the small font. He never brought his glasses to practice (much to Ilya’s chagrin), but he also never anticipated reading whatever stupid meme the Centaurs decided was vital for his desolate knowledge of pop culture.
Me and the bad bitch I pulled by being autistic, it read, followed by a photo pulled from Centaurs socials of Ilya and Shane smiling at each other like idiots at a team event.
Shane read it a second time, then looked up at Dykstra, who looked incredibly proud of himself. Clearly, Ilya was supposed to be the ‘bad bitch,’ because no one had ever put those two words in the same sentence as Shane Hollander.
“Funny, D,” Shane began, “but I’m not autistic.”
or,
Shane Hollander realizes he might be autistic. He is the last person to do so.Bookmarked by Allimaccc

Summary
Come to think about it, it seems impossible they weren't caught on any security cameras in those 11 years they were sneaking around hotel rooms.
That nobody leaked anything, trying to make a quick buck of a grainy video of Shane Hollander sneaking into Ilya Rozanov's hotel room is almost a miracle.

Summary
Sooooo!! This was supposed to be a one-shot with TBLATBIL, but life (Threads and edits are relentless, there are just so many inspirations everywhere) had other plans and now I find myself with 3 other WIPs that I just realised can all be one-shots but can also be set in the same timeline/universe. I clearly am never leaving the cottage.

Summary
Ilya’s still learning what Shane likes and needs, observing him quietly because Shane’s not so forthcoming with what he wants unless he’s certain it’s what he’s supposed to want. But it’s not until Shane reaches back and grabs Ilya’s hip to pull him closer, pressing their bodies together and taking some of Ilya’s weight, that he realises Shane’s been studying Ilya the same way.
“I’m trying to take care of you.”
“Why?” Ilya says, instead of something safer.
Shane twists over his shoulder to frown at him. “Because I want to? Because you’re tired and sad and not feeling well?”
“Oh.” Ilya pulls his bottom lip through his teeth. “But I…”
“I think maybe we both fucked up tonight?” Shane says tentatively.
“No, is not your fault.” Ilya rubs a hand over Shane’s shoulder and then kisses it, wet and soft. “You’re good.”
Shane hums like he’s not convinced. He turns and drapes his arms over Ilya’s shoulders, still pressed close. “After this, will you…”
“Yes,” Ilya says, his mind sharpening attentively, “Tell me what you need.”Or: They communicate just a little bit better and let themselves be just a little more vulnerable, both with each other and their people.
