Summary
Forgotten and accused of being the Sin Archbishop of Pride, Natsuki Subaru is imprisoned and eventually executed.
His name is restored shortly after his death, but it's already too late.
The Emilia camp is left in ruins, and Emilia herself is left with a truth she can no longer escape: she loved Subaru, and she realized it only after his death.
And love, once realized, is a dangerous thing. Especially when loss becomes unbearable.

Summary
I spent the last year and a half reading every Re:Zero reaction fic I could find, and now, here’s my own attempt at a worldwide reaction. The world watches Re:zero, arcs 1-9.
Credit to the writers who came before me, especially Feopyr and “The 4 Nations Witness the Strongest Existence". I used their viewing-description template, and Feopyr, if you feel this crosses a line, just tell me — I’ll remove it and write my own, (please don’t, it would take forever).
I wrote this out of spite because I wanted to prove I could. Whoever said writing is fun is a liar, but it does calm me down. After reading so many fics, I figured out what formats I liked and daydreamed scenarios nonstop until the ao3 curse forced me to finally make my own.Fun fact: if you check Feopyr’s comments, you’ll see me praising their work; two days later I got a fever for three days, and wrote 30,000 words at once.
So here it is — my attempt.I want advice. Real advice. Grammar, characterization, missed details, ideas for future arcs — everything. And if anyone wants to beta read, let me know in the comments.

They learn that not only will Subaru be taken again into an even crueler city, he’ll be managing 12 sinners while accompanied by a bus driver and a guide.

Summary
The world condemns Natsuki Subaru as the Sin Archbishop of Pride. Branded a traitor and monster, he is executed before the people of Lugnica. His final thoughts linger on Emilia—hoping, even in death, for proof that he was not completely forgotten. But death brings him no peace.
In the shadows beneath the capital, the Witch Cult recovers his broken corpse. On an altar of obsidian and bone, they invoke the Sacrament of the Immortal King, a forbidden art that twists death itself. The Witch of Vainglory presides over the rite, speaking to Subaru not only as a weapon, but as something belonging to her, bound to her even beyond the grave.
Subaru rises once more—his body moving, his eyes pale and lifeless, his voice reduced to a rasp. He does not respond, cannot speak, cannot refuse. To the Cult, this is proof of their triumph: Pride has returned.
The world believes Natsuki Subaru dead, erased as a monster. But in the depths, he walks again—soulless, hollow, and utterly enslaved.

Diplomatic affairs are rarely something Emilia finds enjoyable, but they're a whole lot less when what was supposed to be an uneventful visit for the royal selection goes drastically sideways. As the Emilia Camp finds itself stuck in the middle of particularly bloody political machinations, Emilia finds herself caught at the crossroads of fight or flight.
As it turns out, reactions to her appearance are easier to swallow when they aren't going after her knight.

In a second unexpected attack, Subaru fought and resisted against the archbishops of Gluttony, managing to survive, but the consequences were not the worst. In the end, the world forgot him.
And yet, Subaru will hold on at any cost. He will not fall without first doing something.
