    Shane pulled away, grinning to himself, and took his seat across the table. When he was settled, he looked back up to Ilya and had to bite back a laugh.
    His content little smile was long gone, replaced with shock and displeasure. He stared stupidly at Shane, mouth opening and closing like a fish as he struggled to get words out. “Shane, you— I— what?”

    Shane cocked his head sideways in that way Ilya always did when he was being particularly difficult. “What?” he asked. “Is there something on my face?”

    His husband continued gaping at him. He could almost see the little hamster wheel spinning in Ilya’s brain as he tried to come up with words. Finally, almost a full minute later, he managed, “No, there is nothing on your face!”

    Ilya is the king of rage-baiting, and Shane has had enough. He's learned from the best, after all.

    The reasonable thing to do when you get flung three years into the past would be to sit down and think things through - make a plan.

    Fuck that noise - the Z-Team doesn't make plans. They have one (1) future dispatcher and current disaster hero to find and bully into taking care of himself and one (1) statistics-obsessed, jackass supervillain to murder and leave in a convenient ditch. Easy, straight forward - no problem.

    Robert would really appreciate it if someone would explain to him what the hell is going on.
