Ace, el hijo del temido pirata Gol D. Roger, siempre cargó con el peso de un legado que nunca pidió. Ace se encuentra atrapado en una realidad que no comprende del todo. Rodeado por las voces del pasado y los recuerdos de los momentos que marcaron su vida, Ace tiene que enfrentarse a los fantasmas que aún lo atormentan. Es en ese momento, cuando la figura de Dadan, la mujer que lo crió, aparece ante él.

Solo el tiempo lo dirá, pero una cosa es cierta: este viaje no será fácil, y la respuesta a esas preguntas está más cerca de lo que cree.
