In this story, reminiscent of Ken Troop's "Dreams of the City", Ashiok uses their nightmare-inducing powers to give some unfortunate bystanders (and us) a glimpse of the powers of the Titans, powerful creatures that ruled the plane before the gods came about and who were later imprisoned, in order to advance their own, shadowy goals.
