Ch1- Draco goes to Knockturn Alley with Lucius since Lucius has to talk to Borgin to give him the key to Chamber of secrets and mentions it has to be given to a pureblood. Draco get distracted when Harry appears since he accidentally got there via Floo powder. Draco wonders if it's really Harry and not the mirror since the Mirror shows him the person he's angry with and Harry ask why Draco would be mad at him. Draco says Harry hasn't responded to any of his letters and says he thought they were friends and Harry says they're friends and that Dobby was stopping him which surprised Draco but before he can question it further, Lucius comes with Borgin so he shoves Harry in the closet but feels guilty leaving Harry there. They go to the library shop and Ginny glares at Draco after Draco is relieved to see Harry there, but Ginny gets confused when Ron introduces Draco to Ginny in a friendly manner. Lucius and Arthur get into a fight and Draco steals the Tom Riddle Diary that Lucius tried to slip into Ginny's cauldron. At home. Narcissa scolds Lucius for getting into a fight like a child. Draco accidentally discovers the diary is Tom Riddle's.
Ch2- They're on the train to Hogwarts and Draco complains about Crabbe's cat but Hermione is fond of it when she sees Draco and ask to sit there but then they go searching for Harry and Ron when they can't find them. Draco mentions how he spent first year looking for Harry and Hermione gives Draco a knowing look. They bump into Oliver Wood and Draco can't help but stare at Wood's buff arms. They bump into Luna who is Draco's cousin and Draco mentions all purebloods are related somehow and Hermione ask if she's muggle if that considers her blood unpure and Draco feels guilty. They drink some of Daphne's tea and and her tea set goes crazy.
Ch3- Pansy flirts with Draco and flutter her eyes but he thinks there's something in it. Lockhart pretends playing the piano and Draco is smitten by him. Draco gets jealous when he sees Colin Creevey getting too close to Harry to take his picture. Draco feels slightly hurt when Ron and Harry grumble why they tolerate Draco. Draco tries out for the Quidditch team but he doesn't get in and yells at Flint which surprises the others and Draco later wonders why he yelled that. Draco is still talking to Tom Riddle. Draco compares not getting into Quidditch to Hermione not getting into book club. Draco fees sick when Harry and the others invite him to a party and Crabbe and Goyle wonder why Draco is obsessed with Harry. Draco gets ready for the party but faints when he looks in the mirror and sees a boy in it, it's Tom but Draco doesn't know that. Draco wakes up in the forest where Luna points out the dead chicken and blood on him.
Ch4-Harry and co are spying on Draco thinking he's the heir to Slytherin since the chamber of secrets have now been opened. Harry tells him that they're going to do polyjuice and sneak into Slytherin. Draco gets jealous when Hermione is Lockhart's favorite student. Quidditch game, Draco is sitting in the Gryffindor stand while Ginny is cheering and Ron says Ginny likes Harry and Draco feels weird imagining Ginny and Harry together holding hands. Later that night, Draco can't sleep and thinks how he can hold Harry's hand better than Ginny and realizes he likes Harry. Draco and Hermione bond over being fans of Lockhart and opening a book club and mention how their teeth are white before Ron comes and Draco is sad when Harry isn't with him. They need ingredient for the polyjuice and Draco wants to impress Harry so he goes to gather ingredients with Snape and sneaks some in and they also talk to Myrtle. They battle in class and realize that Harry is a parseltongue and Draco wakes up in chicken blood the next day. Draco has a nightmare, Narcissa comes because his wards go off.
Ch5 - Hermione gets petrified so Draco has to do the potions and ROn comments Draco is almost as good as Hermione. Draco is surprised the diary has been found even though he had tried to get rid of it. Draco gets flustered when Harry leans into close to look at notes. Draco steals the diary back. Harry and Ron sneak into Slytherin with the Polyjuice. It's Valentine and Pansy writes a letter to Draco and Draco accidentally sends one to Harry. Crabbe and Goyle says they'll help Draco court Harry but Draco refuses.
Ch6- Draco isn't able to tell the others he's being possessed, he cries in the bathroom and tell Myrtle. Draco gets saved in Chambers of secret by Harry and is surprised when Ron and Harry both care for him.
Ch7-Narcissa and Lucius visit Draco and Narcissa wants Lucius to quit. Goyle, Crabbe, and Pansy cry when they visit Draco and Draco apologizes and they're all friends again. Pansy teases Draco about how Harry saved him. Hermione wakes up and Draco apologizes to her but she calls them friends and should call her by first name. Draco takes Muggle classes next year.Lucius gets fired from the ministry.
