“Parkson Bane, our holy soldier, you have been chosen. You will slay every last hellish creature that threatens the sanctity of our sacred church. The ones who have harmed our people in the hundreds of years that we have lived. We give you this blade, Yogmir, as your tool. Do not fail us.” An echoing voice whispered to every ear present.
Golden spirits surround Parker, swirling and swindling. The shimmers of souls slowly condense into a silver sword; ancient carvings sealed onto its blade. The young paladin grabs the sword, holding the blade and hilt with steady hands.
“I understand, mighty ones, I shall not fail my creators. These beasts will be slain in brutal fashion, just as they deserve.” Small spirits surrounding him started to giggle.
“Good, you shall be our holy hero. Now, go, complete your mission.” A warm voice spoke from the spirits in sync. Parker smiles at the spirits, kneels, and walks towards the great door, his armor clanking with every step.- Language:
