Da ich mitten in den Ferien einfach mal Lust hatte, eine Charakterisierung zu schreibe und mich im Moment sehr für Overwatch interessiere und damit beschäftigte, dachte ich mir 'Warum nicht einfach mal eine Charakterisierung über Hanzo Shimada schreiben?'
Sechs Tage und viele gesammelte Informationen später bin ich nun fertig und dachte mir, ich könnte es ja einfach mal hier hochladen.
Im Endeffekt ist es mehr eine Mischung aus Analyse und Interpretation geworden, aber whatever.
Das hier ist zwar nur eine Zusammenfassung der Sachen, die ich herausgefunden haben, aber damit ihr euch selber ein Bild machen könnt, werde ich in den Notizen meine Mitschriften verlinken - damit ihr seht, worauf alles basiert.

Since I just felt like writing a characterization in the middle of the holidays and am currently very interested in Overwatch, I thought to myself 'Why not write a characterization about Hanzo Shimada?'
Six days and a lot of collected informations later, I'm done and thought to myself I could just upload it here.
In the end it became more of a mixture of analysis and interpretation.
This is just a summary of the things I found out, but so that you can get an idea for yourself, I'll link my researches and documents in the notes - so you can see what it's all based on.
And since English isn't my mother tongue here is the German Translation in which I originally wrote everything.Have fun !

[Music swells....This is a script style/formatted fic which imagines an alternative version of the movie Raya and the Last Dragon. If canon is a song, this is the remix. If canon is a meal, this fic kept the ingredients but threw out the recipe, with minimal additional seasoning. If canon is pottery, this is a mosaic, and I am Mr. Link Zelda-LegendOf, screaming and smashing canon to the floor.
In here there will be no first act that is entirely exposition. There will be no morals about your duty to offer yourself up to others so they can stab you in the back. And hopefully, if I want you to know a character likes dragons, I will not have a scene of them looking two inches to the left of the camera and them earnestly saying "I love dragons." As for what it will have... why don't you come and find out?

Great writing. Great plot. Great inclusion of canon. Really excellent characterization. I do not like stories that have non-con in them because I can't handle it, and while the fic includes non-con, it is in no way a central aspect of the story, nor does it invasively make you feel uncomfortable (except for perhaps the first time).

Not at all. Derek knows what he looks like, knows that his face and his body are more than enough to compensate for his shitty personality. Stiles wants him more than he is annoyed by him. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not anything to be amazed over, nothing to write home about. Stiles isn't the first-- and most likely won't be the last-- hormone soaked teen who has panted over Derek.
