I'm going to murder AO3. I wrote a long bookmark, and would you look at that? It got deleted. I'm going to try to rewrite what I said, but it's 01:45 and all I have is my lizard brain. Ugh. AO3, why?
This fic brought me great joy. Not just joy, but a whole lot of feels too. I truly felt for Yu and his plight. His spiraling through the story pained my heart to read, and I was so glad to see him happy in the later chapters. His anxiety and stress did resonate in me. The "shadow" of his was cool to read.
As for characters, Yu, Yosuke, and the Dojimas shine in this fic. Yu, of course, is our main hero who we watch on his journey with the arcanas at his side. His relationship with Yosuke is always a pleasure to read, but I did have a lot of moments when I just slapped my palm to my forehead. The build was nice and their friendship was nice too. Nanako is, as always, insanely adorable, and Dojima does his best to be a good uncle and dad. Let's not forget our beloved Investigation Team. Love them. <3
Time travel or NG+ is a trope that I have an awful weakness for. Why am I not tired after literal years of reading this genre? I don't know. However, I did like reading this author's take on P4/P4G and its charm. It felt like a love letter to the games. I had a lot of fun picking out details from the games and reading details the author added for storytelling.
I need sleep now. Adiós, amigos. Why I chose to read a WIP is beyond me. Eh, whatever, I had fun anyway. And why do I write so much notes??

jake being shorter than sunoo IS SO CUTE HELLOOO
sunoo’s slight possessiveness/protectiveness over his best friend, and loving him so much that while he can’t imagine a world without him, he also wants to make sure he doesn’t drift too far away or grow too fast. heeseung finally getting his head out of his ass and breaking up with jungwon bc HE IS A MINOR!!! and sunoo’s relief at having jungwon back //without// heeseung. + jungwon slowly going back to what he’s comfortable with and not trying to prove himself to anyone (love how this ties in to his actual en-note where he mentions that he doesn’t want to grow up too fast or try staying young, and just wanting to go along with life)
uhhh sunjake… the ending :( life moves on eventually and lots of things change, and while sunoo had to say goodbye to jake, he has jungwon (and their friends) waiting for him

The aim of synthetic souls was to mimic the soul of a human being, allowing a synthetic android to experience feelings & emotions and to form emotional attachments or empathetic bonds.
DRNs have been out of use for decades because they were too lifelike for their human counterparts.
Derek Hale, heir to Hale Robotics, finds Stiles in his junkyard, where he's been a mechanic for the last 24 years. The last thing he expected was the android to be functional, much less it being a Hale DRN, which is the last project his mother had been working on before the fire. And Stiles was unlike any other DRN that Derek had ever seen before… he was so human and lifelike that Derek hated him for it.

Swinging the door open, Buck stands in shorts and workout gear and a thin sheen of sweat all over, his headphones stuck in his ears. “Uh, hi?” He asks, taking in the two, plucking his headphones out. “Sorry, did we have plans?”
“No!” Chris yells. “This is a surprise attack!”
Then he launches himself at Buck.
To Buck’s credit, he handles the preteen leaping for a hug as well as anyone could, not even taking a step back before wrapping his arms around him and lifting Chris in the air. Chris giggles as he does so, Buck even spinning once to make them louder.
And Eddie?
Eddie is undone. Eddie tells that box he has filled with Buck and feelings and thoughts to fucking shut because now is not the time to confess his love for his best friend.
*Or: All aboard the dispatcher!Eddie train, working through being on the wrong side of the phone, especially when there’s a particular firefighter who will just not use his head.
