“A god.” Replies the Nether Lord with some force. Shuffling the cards faster and faster.
Seto blinks as a bad feeling settles in his stomach. “A wandering god?”
The Nether Lord huffs. “Right on the mark. I’m bringing you in to help me.”
Seto finds a million questions racing through his mind. Finally he decides on a safe question. “I see… then this person does not want to be found?”
The fox hybrid shakes his head, “not really. The world is wide, and I for once have had terrible luck. I have used up all my options, and I have decided to bring in you in to help. Your reputation of getting the job done is well known.”
Seto smiles under the mask. “I see. Then I hope I can be of service. Who exactly is this god?”
“His highness Seto the god of scholars, knowledge, and magic.”
Or: Seto has played many roles, lived a quiet life, and aims to just have peace. Then the Nether Lord makes a request. Between faking his own death, confronting his past, and his odd feelings… well he can handle it.

He’s about to cut the voice off until it continues.
“However, the happiness level of the character has fallen into the minus points.”
“Well I mean- wait what?”
“The user’s newest mission is to bring up happiness points to one hundred.”
“Excuse me!?”
Or: Seto did everything in his power to fullfuil the happiness of the only character he’s ever been attached to. Things do not go to plan even when finished.

The Time of Reckoning was a drastic disaster that bled upon the world every thousand years when the Dark One awoken. From His prison harbored in the darkest depths of Hell, the Dark One would be unleashed and escape to the Overworld, where he would continue in his goal to conquer it.
The books of legend spoke of a group of heroes, a group consisting of mighty powerful beings gifted by the Creator himself. This group of beings would stand against the Dark One, seizing him in his destruction, veiling his anger and sealing it back into the Underworld so the world above would be at peace once more.
They called them Guardians.

A letter came in the mail - a letter of "Good News!" but when the author who had come so far read it, the paper was twisted and torn apart in their hands, teeth gritted and eyes burning with an anger that had been a long time coming. Determined rage filled their every step as they stormed back inside their work home, ripped down book after book from the shelves and placing each of them reverently in a thick canvas bag.
"Very well. If /that/ is how they choose to act, then I will have none of it. There are other, more /appropriate/ places for me to establish my workshop," they said with bitter tones, mourning flooding alongside the fires of betrayal.
With their most valuable works safe, they took the match to set alight the rest, leaving them to smoulder and crumple with the workshop, but they paused as a collection of six stories greeted their eyes like silent pleading words.
"Well... a few people would miss them."
So they approached the books, taking them down one by one and ripping out select pages to place carefully into a new book. Those select stories were saved, and they live on here.

And on his 12th birthday his prayers are answered.
(This fic will prob be eight books long, each having atleast 100k words. I have big plans with this world ive created from the HP universe so have high hopes! also btw the first book is just meeting everyone and just the boys settling in and vibing. book two will be more of action and motives and character development! be aware that people dont start dying until book 5 so, if youre here for that then just you wait >:v
also btw, this is found family. no one is related unless specifically said so. SBI has no canon blood ties, but they have A LOT of screen time together so

So as he stares from the mountain range overlooking the SMP, with a journal in hand, and the hope of a tomorrow, he turns away to head far away from here.And though Phil and Techno care little for him now, and his past family is dead and gone, he at least can thank them for having him learn survival skills.
No one will miss him.
