Waiting for the moment Lex had finally begun to think was inevitable, when they'd turn their heads at the same time, each one's eyes dropping to the other's mouth, pupils dilating, breath hot and moist. Waiting for the first kiss and, inevitably, waiting for the last.
The grating sound of the brocade against their bodies reminded Lex that this wasn't Smallville, and that Clark had always known intuitively what would get him what he wanted from Lex.
"Fuck you," he said roughly, though the last syllable was said directly into Clark's mouth. Clark's hand was on his chin, holding him in place, while his mouth yielded like the Maginot Line. One night Izuku goes down the research rabbit hole with the sole intent of trashing Endeavor’s reputation. He released a viciously compiled spreadsheet on all of Endeavor’s faults as a hero and crashes, sleeping through the backlash. Shoto is speechless(having technically given Izuku permission) and Aizawa pulls Izuku aside for questioning, which results in further speechlessness. Izuku meets Dabi in a grocery store and hooks him up with Inko, who is a ruthless lawyer. Izuku continues his reign of terror with “inflammatory literature” while Inko prosecutes Endeavor and gets Dabi off on house arrest.

Jon is kind of like a child psychopath that passionately hates ALL Starks and is a master plotter/planner by the age of ten. It's all rather ott, especially how he is either emotionless or rageful about everything (like plotting and murdering Benjen, terrifying child Dany), which would be disturbing and odd enough if he were an adult, but the fact that he is a child behaving this way is a little too disturbing and unbelievable.

No pairings but better for it. So many feels. I proper cried at some parts.
This book is fantastic. Once again, Lomonaaeren has an absolute gift when it comes to writing magic, and writing cool characterisations. This book is mostly that, and it is brilliant, as a result. Who would've thought that Transfiguration would be so damn COOL!? So insanely interesting and overpowered and enticing to read. I adore it. And the characters, esp HARRY, just so fascinating.
The ending is a bit rocky but that was kinda expected, and it fits. It works really well. It isn't the happiest ending but it isn't bad or sad - it feels hopeful. Lovely.
The growth and acceptance and fascinating theories brought forth is amazing. I really really enjoyed this. It starts off good, and only gets better and better and it's never NOT brilliant. Definitely worth the read if you're interested in cool magic and it's theory and uses, a lil bit of philosophy in a way, and some big feels. Also, extremely dubious morals. Or less than dubious, just straight up kinda dark, but I adore it.
