However, Emory knew the human's patterns just enough in the roughly two weeks he'd been in Ramonde's care. He hadn't needed anymore context. “You should probably stick to water, if being hungover is as bad as you said.”
“It would really help me wake up. Totally fine if you don't know, because I can just make my ow–”
“Water, Ramonde.” It was a tone of finality that Ramonde had never heard from Emory. If the voice hadn't been enough to make him shrink, the way his lavender eyes were mere slits when he turned to stare back certainly was.

An AU series that picks up at the Season 9 mid-season hiatus, following 9:9 Holy Terror.
The Opposite of Fall is about what happens after Sam walks out of the bunker, possessed by Gadreel, and what sacrifices need to be made to set the world to rights. Unfortunately, in taking certain paths, new problems are being created - the world is heading down the path to a different sort of apocalypse, but no one seems to realize it.
Stretch and Glide is mostly a pornographic interlude with a little bit of fluff.
Will We Fly? explores the changing relationship between Gadreel and the Winchesters, as well as Sam's struggles with loving someone in a male body when he himself identifies as straight.
Long Tran Running kicks off an alternate season 10! All fics after will be following an episode-style format, and will have both a part in the larger "season" story arc (which focuses on the continuing angelic war as well as freeing the angels trapped in Hell) and a self-contained narrative. I don't know if it will make it to a 22 part story, but I will try to make it a good, well-rounded series. :)

Sorry for so many Bookmarker's Tags and Notes! I do this to alot of my Bookmarks because sometimes I get bored and like to filter random things I haven't read in a while...
Notes to self (Spoilers):
Part 1: Established or Past Castiel/Dean Winchester...established? Implied established Gadreel/Sam Winchester? I'm glad we got to meet Kevin's Dad and liked the role that the Great Salt Lake played (would be neat in canon too).The end of Chapter 10 caused me so much anxiety! The battle of words in Chapter 12 is a touch bit anticlimactic, but it really makes sense since Metatron is the scribe of the Word of God. Cas made me want to cry in Chapter 13. I've never really thought Metatron was an archangel though...Chapter 15 = deus ex machina. Love how this part wrapped up and totally ship Gadreel/Sam Winchester.
Part 2 = (cute) wing grooming, smutty smut
I kind of wish Sam would have been more comfortable with his sexuality in Part 3, but I do understand why the author wrote Sam as being conflicted. After experiencing somewhat of a "Stockholm Syndrome" relationship between himself and Gadreel, his doubts are understandable. Gadreel's honesty and eagerness to make amends with everyone was nice.
Part 4: Gadreel's innocence is endearing and sassy, "I don't understand that reference" Cas will always crack me up. Linda Tran is a BAMF. The religious discussion in Baby in Chapter 01 was really interesting and I share a lot of the same thoughts.
Part 5: The haircut scene at the beginning made me smile. I really wanted to give Gadreel a hug after reading this part.
Part 6: Cas appearing in Dean's bed at the motel in Chapter 01 was cute. I occasionally get this part mixed up with "Beware the Trojan Horse," a fic from darkmagess' "Tormented 'Verse" found here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/80003/chapters/106626. I also agree with the author that Dean's PTSD needs to be addressed more in canon.
Part 7: I like that the author addressed the "grace syringe" - I wish there would be more canon discussions about leftover angel grace, post-possession.
Part 8: Finally completed as of Nov 2019 - have downloaded and emailed, just need to read it & add tags now.
