Summary
The somewhat peaceful town of Happy Treeville changes when a human woman named Mattie is unthawed from a freezer thanks to a curious Lammy. Mattie's appearance shocks the town as humans are long thought to be extinct.
Mattie for her part, comes to quickly enjoy her new life in Happy Treeville (since her previous life before she was frozen wasn't all that great to begin with) sans ignoring the fact that she and the rest of the residents of Happy Treeville keep dying in horrific ways nearly everyday, with them waking up the next day with no memory of what happened the day before leading to their deaths.
Mattie however realises that she's one of the few residents in the town that remembers her deaths and sets off with a few others to uncover the mystery as to why the residents of this town keep dying.

Finalmente luego de un par de años, Flippy, a regresado de la militar, tras una guerra que le dejó con un peligro.
Decide ir a Happy tree town. Un largo viaje pero que lo mantuvo tranquilo hasta su destino.
Vuelve a ver a uno de sus amigos y pide ayuda para un trabajo estable y pueda mantenerse.En la empresa de moda, se encuentran grandes amigos con grandes intereses amorosos; Splendid, la mano derecha del jefe y encargado de vigilar que todo vaya en orden.
Flaky; una joven que se encarga de diseñar o dibujar las próximas prendas a la venta.Gracias al primer nombrado Flippy conseguirá trabajar ahí, pero su enfermedad hace que este con un doctor privado y pueda tomar pastillas para mantenerlo dormido.
Al pasar los días el va desarollando un romance con la pelirroja de Flaky, aún que tendria que pasar por variedad de problemas y conflictos.
Estos problemas se desarrollan por la segunda personalidad de Flippy, que su objetivo es; "Cuidar lo que un día perdieron"
En conclusión; quiere proteger con capa y espada a tal dama la cual generó confianza y teme en perderla. Aún que no le pertenezca exactamente a él.
