greatest of all time fics, beautifully written w/ some really great character study. my usual issue w/ most crossover writing is the demonization of one side, this idea of them being considered 'inferior' to the primary fandom. the author balances this out really well; from critiques about hero society, to personal flaws and biases of nobara and megumi, to external povs of BNHA characters, to even broader, secondary impacts of their actions on the BNHA 'plot'!
just gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. i felt genuine pain and misery when i realized this hasn't been updated in a while. hope the author comes back and finishes this (lowkey, as a writer myself, i am totally in LOVE w/ the way they write). in the meantime i'll go devour the rest of their works!

“Sensei,” she struggles to grit it out. Her grandmother always told her this was her fatal flaw: her arrogance, her refusal to admit her mistakes. It starts small—denying spilling coffee in her sensei’s obnoxiously expensive shirt to this. “I—it was my—it’s my fault.” Because she grabbed on Itadori the first time around, because she failed to grab on Itadori in Hosu, because she got dragged back in the portal. Nobara knows she cannot compete with Fushiguro and Itadori when it comes to more flexible techniques, despite her taking pride in her craft. She knows she is not as physically strong, not as fast. Nobara knows she is powerful in her own right, recommended to be a First Grade along with Itadori, even, but for once, Nobara doubts ‘power’ is all that.
“You know what our dear old Principal always says: ‘mistakes are—”
Nobara feels blood rush to her face. “This isn’t a joke, sensei,” she growls angrily. Her ribs ache at the sudden movements, “You’re—” Her annoyance does not waver even when Gojou’s palm lands on her head, ruffling her hair like a dog. She swats him away but he only digs his hand harder, chirping, “Eh, don’t bother with all those details anymore. Sensei’s here to clean things up. Come on, Nobara-chan, for someone who’s been in the business for so long, you don’t act like it.”
“What are you—”
“Well, you look like you need a reminder,” Gojou shrugs, tugging up that stupid black cloth to show those stupid blue eyes. They gleam as much as his Cursed Energy, all bright and scalding to the touch. He grins. “Your sensei’s the strongest out there—different dimension or not.”
Nobara hates how much that relieves her. Hates that she feels so relieved that she does not care about anything more than that. She hates that. She hates how suddenly, the eight months stuck in this stupid, stupid world does not matter anymore, because this stupid, stupid, always-late, always-carefree, always-nonchalant sensei of hers is finally here. Suddenly, it does not matter that Fushiguro was taken, or that Itadori is still under the hands of the League of Villains because Gojou-sensei is here. And that is all that matters.

"Don't let me near them" Bruce begs again "I'm going to hurt them." Clark watches helplessly, unsure how he could ever think that, even in light of what happened. "Jason and Dick are alright" he tries to interject but Bruce is still pacing, flapping his hands as his expression spirals into a raw fear that is terrifyingly out of place in the quiet of his bedroom. "No I'll ruin them, I've almost killed them so many times I'll- I'll hurt them worse."
He stares, unsure if Bruce is directing the words at Clark or himself. "I'm going to kill them, I'm going to kill Jason I- Clark I can't he has to be okay, he has to be okay." Bruce's breathing is deteriorating by the second, his chest heaving as he sinks to his knees, burying his face in the duvet on the bed as he starts to cry.
OR
Clark witnesses Bruce have an OCD attack in the early months of Jason's recovery, it's the final catalyst for their changing relationship.
