When the world ended around him, WIlbur Soot did the only thing he could think of to document what was left of his life: he picked up a recorder and began to talk. This fic transcribes those recordings and follows him as he integrates into an underground commune of survivors and discovers some... less than ideal things about life in the post-apocalypse.
This fic is abandoned, orphaned, unfinished, however you want to put it. I left in the authors notes that I left to myself, to leave an idea of where the story was going before I stopped working on it.
