"What the kark," Stone says, because kark it, it’s the crack of dawn and he's exhausted. This feels like a what the kark situation. Hound, on the other hand, shrugs, because Hound is the worst, and also probably got six hours of sleep last night, so he’s physically capable of being in a good mood.
The fox has red markings. The fox is asleep. The fox should not be here.

Summary
“How am I force-sensitive, how do I control it, and what is going on with my bond with Vos?” Fox asks, a little bit of his desperation bleeding into his voice as he white-knuckles his grip on his helmet. Kenobi strokes his beard, Ti and Koon seem to share a glance, and Yoda settles in his chair.
“Works in mysterious ways, the Force does. Through all of us does it flow, so likely it is that you have always been force-sensitive. Perhaps share the same connection, some of your siblings do. A… difficult question, control is. Work their entire life a Jedi does, to keep control. Ask for help from Vos perhaps, when undercover.” Yoda suggests, and Fox has to resist the urge to stamp in frustration. He just wants things to go back to how they used to be!
“Rare indeed, is the bond you share with Vos. A dyad in the Force, you two are,” Yoda states, and after a moment of complete silence, all of the Jedi erupt at once.
Or: Fox is force-sensitive, Palpatine is the Sith Lord, and Quinlan Vos is too damn charming for his own good.

“Excuse me, sir, do we have a problem?” Fox asks in the voice he reserves for the most difficult of senators. The man sneers his pretty lips.
“Yeah we have a fuckin’ problem: you bastards! You clones wreak… wreak havoc throughout the galaxy, and now you’re invading our bars as well? Get the hell outta my sight, you fucking scum,” he says, and Cody puts a hand on Fox’s shoulder, keeping him from lunging at the man. Gods above, he wants to get his hands on that ignorant shit. Insult him ? Fine. He’s used to being looked down upon, and his life relies on not reacting. Insult his brothers ? Nobody can save your ass.
The hut’uun has a lot of nerve to pull this shit in 79’s, of all places.

Fox freezes as a young voice-- a child’s voice, really-- cuts him off. He waits for a second, to see if anyone else is going to reply, and when no one does, he sighs and sends the bartender what he hopes is an apologetic smile, but probably looks more like a pained grimace.
(or, before the Imperial Court existed, Ysanne Isard was raised in the heart of the Republic. She must have met Fox at least once, right?)

Fox slinks off of the window nook and clambers back into bed next to the Jedi. Quinlan studies him as they sit next to each other.
“Are you alright?” Quinlan asks, taking Fox’s hand and lacing their fingers together. Fox sighs and rests his head on Quinlan’s shoulder. It had taken him a while to get used to showing and receiving physical affection from anyone who wasn’t a brother, but eventually he took to it like a pelikki to water.“...No,” he admits. “I… have I ever told you how I got the scar on my back?” he asks, wanting to be honest with Quinlan.

Today is Primeday, the sixth of Firstmonth.
Fox wants to vomit.
He’s lost a week. A fucking week, poof, gone, nothing! He’s cracking under the pressure, he has to be. He gets up from his desk, intent on taking his ass straight to medical, when a terrible thought worms it’s way into his head.
