A story about second chances, growing up, acceptance, and family in the totalitarian militaristic regime of magic assassins.

Notes:

The whole point of this story is to be an AU that rearranges canon as I see fit. Some things will remain the same, others won't. Some things Ren changes on purpose, others she stumbles into changing. Either way, she's going to patchwork the hell out of canon.

• First story - Swapped Patterns - covers Uchiha Ren's first week in Naruto World as Uchiha Ren.
• Second story - Knitting Fate - covers the +/- five/six-year-gap between Uchiha Ren's graduation up to Rookie Nine graduation.

I'd like to be at least bashful for using the 'died here, woke there' tope, but I decided there's no point. I love it, honestly, and I will use, abuse and overuse it.
