“Alright,” Jonathan says. “I’ll go next, then. Nancy.” He smiles as he says her name with an air of mischievousness. Ever since they broke up, they’ve settled comfortably into friendship (Nancy realizes the hypocrisy in questioning Robin’s friendship with Vickie). It’s been relieving, but it also means Jonathan is a lot more comfortable with messing with Nancy. She hasn’t quite gotten there yet.
“Dare,” she says quickly, before he can even ask.
“Damn, that was fast,” Robin says. “What are you hiding, Wheeler?”
Nancy feels her face turning red. “Just give me the dare.”

Vecna was actually gone. The Upside Down was destroyed, forever. Three teens were avenged. All during the Spring Break of 1986.
Just because Vecna is destroyed, that doesn’t mean it’s all over. Eddie and Max are both hospitalized, tension is brewing between literally everyone, and worst of all- a ghost from Dustin’s past comes back for him, and he’s not sure he’ll make it out this time.
(My own take on a “Dustin is an experiment” AU featuring partycule, Steddie as Dustin’s older brother figures, good mama Claudia, and PLENTY of Dustin whump and appreciation)

Summary
Once they’d somewhat tidied Mike’s room they agreed to start packing. Mike asked Will to start packing clothes while he sorted his school stuff, so Will got a box ready and opened the closet door while chatting to each other from opposite sides of the room. That’s when all hell broke loose.

Summary
Will didn't know the punch at the party was spiked. He drank way too much of it, and when he manages to slice his palm open, Mike is the one who gets him home and cleans up the wound.
They've both had a lot to drink. And Will has an idea. If they're both drunk, then they probably won't remember any of this by tomorrow... right? So, really, there's no harm in making a confession or two. Even if Mike is mad at him, they will have both forgotten it by tomorrow, and everything will go back to normal.

The impossible happened: Will asked Mike to be his boyfriend. Even stranger? Mike said yes.
That's how it started. A letter, an accidental confession, a Saturday afternoon. And that? That was the easy part.
Now, what they do - what they are - is secret. Because if anyone finds out... they don't even want to imagine. Lonnie would kill them both on sight. Mike's parents would send him away to some boarding school. They'd never see each other again. They'd be marked forever. Everything would come crashing down around them.
But they try not to focus on that. They're busy, after all, trying to navigate this new relationship. Kisses, dates, prom, couples' quarrels. And in the meantime, Will has a problem on his hands; a power he needs to learn to control, before it blows up in his face.

When Will needs to get his thoughts out of his head, he writes a letter he never intends to send. He addresses it to Mike, and tells him everything.
Feeling lighter than he has in weeks and buoyed by the adrenaline of writing it all out, Will acts on an impulse and ends the letter with, "If you’d be willing to give me a chance, I’d be really happy to date you. If you’re open to trying it, please meet me in Castle Byers this Saturday at 2:00pm. I’m not asking for any promises, I’m not asking for forever or anything like that; all I’m asking is that you give me a chance. Come if you want; if not, I completely understand, no hard feelings, and I’ll never, ever mention this again."
He forgets all about the letter, and the distinctive red envelope he stowed it in, until he turns around to find it missing. Now, Will has to think of some way to stop Mike from reading that letter - or should he wait at Castle Byers on Saturday at 2:00pm and pray for a miracle?

Summary
While talking to Will in the shed, trying to break through the Mind Flayer's control, Mike starts thinking about what he would do if Will gave up, and completely unintentionally blurts, "I love you." Mike's existential crisis follows. Meanwhile, Will uses the words as his anchor, holding onto this glimmer of hope with all his might as he struggles to hang on against the Mind Flayer.
Basically, a more Mike/Will-centric version of episodes 8 and 9 and the time beyond, with a good dose of of grit and Serious Stuff but also plenty of happiness and some fluff to come. (I mean, come on - Will is a gay kid in the 80s who just craves love and acceptance, and he deserves A Break. Mike is just realizing he's bisexual and he needs some love and acceptance and A Break too.)
