      - maybe it's okie. Seems like it's adoption squared. Dagur and Hiccup adopting one another. Viggo and Ryker attempting to adopt Dagur and Hiccup. Toothless adopting Hiccup. Gobber being adopted and adopting the Grimborn. And finally Toothless also slightly adopting Dagur who then also gets adopted by Haelan who also just slightly adopts Hiccup. Okay so maybe a lot of the dragons adopt them. And Toothless gets adopted by the other dragons too cus Hiccup and Dagur might be his hatchlings, but he's still a fledgling himself.

      He doesn’t notice the manifestation of his Devil face, but he does see his mother’s reaction to it. Her eyes widen and her mouth falls open in horror. “Lucifer...”

      “You did this,” Lucifer breathes, his voice trembling with wrath. “You took her from me.”

      Mum lifts her hands, trying to soothe him. “Lucifer, I can explain.”

      Shoving off of Amenadiel, Lucifer crosses the room, not to his mother, but to where he hid Azrael’s blade after Uriel. Stone explodes beneath his fist as he retrieves it. “How could you?” he half-sobs, half-growls. His cheeks feel wet and somewhere in the back of his mind, it surprises him; he didn’t know this form was capable of tears. “I loved her, Mum. How could you take her from me?”

      Vaguely, he sees some emotion that might be remorse flash through his mother’s eyes. But she's lied about everything else; if she truly loved him, she wouldn’t have hurt him like this. Hurt Chloe.

      No. She didn’t hurt Chloe. She killed Chloe.

      One moment he’s watching detachedly as his fingers wrap around Azrael’s blade and the next, he has his mother pinned against the bookshelves, the edge of the blade at her throat. There’s a strange ringing in his ears growing louder and somewhere buried in that, a duo of voices—one pleading with him, the other shouting at him to stop. He ignores them both.

      Meeting Mum’s gaze, he can see the reflection of fire from his own eyes in hers and her fear—of him or for her life? It doesn’t matter. Her lips are moving, but he can’t make out what she's saying, he doesn’t care. The grief and the rage are fighting for dominance. He sees his hand tremble; he could end this...but then, what would be the point? Nothing he does, no amount of punishing his mother or anybody else is going to bring Chloe back.

      Another thought crosses his mind. Shoving himself back and releasing his mother, Lucifer studies the blade in his hands.

      Looking down at his red, clawed, monstrous hands—first at the keychain, then at the blade—he knows what he needs to do and vaguely wonders why he didn’t consider it before. The only thing that will stop this agonizing pain. With detached interest, he watches the hand with Azrael’s blade lift, the tip turning towards his chest, his heart. It feels as if he’s watching it from the outside—an out of body experience. Huh. He didn’t know he could do that, either.

      “Lucifer, don’t—!”

      “Luci, stop—!”

      Voices start shouting again, begging him to not...do something. He doesn’t obey. He just wants it to be over. Not just this, with Chloe, but all of it. The excruciatingly long, miserable, hopeless life he’s led. It’s no less than he deserves—a monster and a brother killer. Someone who couldn’t even be there for the woman he loved.

      This is all his fault. If he had been there for Chloe, he could have saved her. If he hadn’t been so bloody soft by allowing his mother to remain on Earth instead of returning her to Hell the way his father and Uriel insisted, Chloe would still be here. Instead, she’s gone. Her daughter will grow up without a mother; her friends will grieve and mourn her for the rest of their lives. The world is already dimmer, emptier without her light to brighten it.

      With one quick thrust into his heart, he could fade into the nothingness; the same place he sent Uriel. No more boring monotony. No more suffering. No more eternal punishment. His life improved significantly when he met the Detective. He found meaning and purpose and friendship. He found love. Without her, he just...he doesn’t see the point in being here anymore. And if he can’t have Chloe...well, there’s just no point in existing.

      Chloe looks around and smiles when she sees him. There’s confusion in her eyes. “Lucifer? I don’t...I don’t understand. I was...” She shakes her head as her eyebrows furrow. “I thought I was with my dad.”

      A sob falls from his lips as he crosses the penthouse in a few long strides and wraps Chloe in his arms. He hears her quiet gasp, then she’s hugging him back. “You’re okay. You’re here,” he mutters over and over into her hair as tears fall from his eyes. This time, though, they’re tears of relief. Of joy. Finally, he understands the concept of happy tears.

      So not just canon changed, it's a different world. We get to see characters we know and love, but they play completely different roles in this world(Charlie, Benny, Garth, Lisa, Ruby etc). Sometimes the roles are close to canon

      Dean had gotten used to Castiel popping by at random moments through the day to ask him ‘why’ people did this or that. On one memorable occasion, Castiel dropped into their home completely naked and covered in bees. His mama screamed and beat the angel with a broom in an attempt to get the bees out of her house. Papa just laughed uncontrollably until he hiccupped. Dean had to fight to keep his eyes from betraying him while trying to answer bee-related questions. Castiel had actually gotten upset with Maggie for endangering the tiny insects, lecturing her on the sanctity of His Father’s creations. She kicked him out of the house, screaming at him to come back without bees and with clothing. Dean had to convince Castiel to pick flowers for her to get her forgiveness, which led to even more questions, of course.

      He could still see the ripple effects of his presence. Stane was still dead under ‘mysterious’ circumstances and ‘Stane’ Industries no longer sold weapons. Pepper was still CEO, though now of Stane Industries. Rhodey was still War Machine, but the world in general seemed to have glossed over explanation for how that had happened.
      The Iron Man pilot was an unnamed figure who had died taking a nuke away from New York and no one would listen, no one would believe him, when he said it was him, when he said he was Tony Stark.
      Or rather, the fact that he was Tony Stark hadn’t meant anything, because according to the world, Tony Stark didn’t exist.

The suit had hurt to be inside, like needles digging into his skin and ripping through his composure and concentration and leaving him gasping for breath between sobs.

A high-functioning alcoholic. A degenerate. A narcissist. A—“

      “Stop,” Stephen cut in, voice sharp. “Stop this ridiculous self-hatred you have going on. You may have disappeared from the eyes of the world, you may have changed your name, but you haven’t changed who you are.” Stephen moved towards him, eyes bright and piercing. “I don’t doubt that you have skeletons in your closet. I just don’t believe that they make you into the monster you seem so intent on seeing yourself as.”

      “If you knew—”

      “I’d want you anyways,” Stephen interrupted, steel lining his voice. “Because I know who you are, Tony. It doesn’t matter if you’re Tony Carbonell or Tony Stark, I know who you are.”

      “Then why does it matter?” Tony asked, voice plaintive. “If you want me as Tony Carbonell, why are you trying to make me be Tony Stark again?”

      Couldn’t he be good enough just as he existed now? Why did he need to become someone else?

      Strange’s hands came up, cupping his face gently. Stephen’s fingers trembled minutely against Tony’s skin, but it felt like love. “Because I can’t bear to see you hate yourself, Tony. I can’t bear to see you diminishing yourself.”

      Ah, things now do make more sense for me. Bruce starts his Batman training really really early, as from what I saw in canon Bruce only starts it when he becomes an adult/is young adult, after the asshole that killed his folks is set to be released. Tho that might be the Nolan or whatever canon, while this is based on three different Batman canon origins

      I've honestly been wanting to do this for ages but my ass has been lazy and it'll just cause more problems for me in the future. So...
      KidDee, stories in which Dean is under 16 for a decent amount of time. Deaged, kid fic, pre series whatever. Not just a mere moment or a short flashback. If it's a short fic, it should still be a decent bit.
      YoungDee, same as above but of Dean being 16+ (we'll go till 20~). Not to be confused with YoungerDee, completely different
      DeagedDee, Dean becoming a child for one reason or another. Curse, magic, idc. Does not include littles or adult baby stuff because uh yeah no. Once again, needs to be more than a swift moment in the fic.

       

      This is the fic with those weird.. creatures thingies. They're all girls I think if I remember correctly. Used to be human? Something about pain/heartbreak? Maybe regarding kids?

      We shall see, wanted to write what I recall before we learn more about them
