      I thought I might not be super into it with it being Nat's pov and I thought the focus will be less on Tony but I was wrong and this is adorable

      There's so many moments I wanted to quote. I'll put what I can (so much more tho)

      Sam straightened up so that he could reach out and pat her on the shoulder. “From what you’ve said about him, and from what I know of him from the mutual parties we’ve been to, I don’t think Tony would be disgusted.” He paused, then added, “I’m pretty sure I saw him eat wasabi like guacamole at one of your afterparties. Guy can’t be disgusted by much.”

      “We’re pretty sure he doesn’t have any taste buds left and just shoves anything identified as food into his mouth,” Natasha admitted as she straightened up as well. “We just can’t decide if it was a lab accident, too much alcohol, or he seared them off when he couldn’t wait for a pizza to cool down when he was eleven.”

      “So fucking ask him out then?” Janet suggested after a moment, frustrated. “You guys, he’s sensitive, not stupid. If he doesn’t want to engage in a polyamorous relationship, he’ll tell you.”

      “You really think something that simple would work?” Pepper asked, frowning, and crossed her arms. “He’s not stupid, but he can be sort of oblivious sometimes.”

      Janet raised an eyebrow at her. “I mean, he might think it’s a joke at first, but if you just tell him that you’re serious, I think he’ll eventually figure out you’re actually asking him. Sensitive, not stupid, remember?”

      “What if he says no?” Natasha asked softly, looking down at her feet.

      Janet opened her mouth, then closed it again with a sympathetic frown. She hated to see her sister so uncertain when she was usually a strong, confident person. “I’ll let you guys sulk it out. All three of you,” she finally said, reaching out to put her hand on Natasha’s shoulder. “And then I’ll do that thing that scares you all so much where I give you my ‘you’re interfering with my grand plans for you’ grin until you all capitulate.”

      “You do that on purpose?!” Pepper sputtered.

      Janet frowned at her, unimpressed. “Of course I do. Do you think I bullied you all into being my friends by accident?”

      “I knew a lot of things about you before, Janet, but hearing you say them out loud is chilling,” Natasha couldn’t help but admit as Pepper leaned her head in her hands again, terrified. “But then, you all could say the same thing about me, couldn’t you?”

      “I’m, like, seventy percent certain that you actually have killed someone to protect me,” Janet said after a moment. “And that percentage is honestly way too high for me. So. I just choose not to think about it too much.”

      “This explains more about the two of you than literally any other conversation you’ve had with me,” Pepper declared. “I hate it. Thanks for nothing.”

      “I’m not surprised. They keep the reason for his employment quiet, but Happy told me over drinks one night,” Pepper replied, frown quirking up into a smile at the thought. “Tony was getting mugged, but he had no idea he was being mugged, so it just pissed his attacker off more. Happy rescued him, but he didn’t know he was rescuing Tony Stark. He wouldn’t take any reward for helping him, said he was too busy job hunting, so Tony made him head of security on the spot. Happy turned him down three times before he finally caved, and he’s taken his job seriously ever since.”

      “I want to say that’s so cute,” Janet choked out. “But I’m mostly horrified. Tony didn’t know he was being mugged?”

      “Tony doesn’t notice a lot of things,” Pepper lamented, and it was Janet’s turn to put her head in her hands and sigh.

His eyes were turned on the elevator numbers swiftly going up, up, up. “Because you’re one of my oldest and dearest friends. And frankly because the things you threatened to do to me were barbaric.” He finally turned to give her a sharp glance. “I could have done without the threats. Tony’s my friend, too.”

      “The threats were from Natasha,” Janet answered, not looking up from tapping on her phone.

      Victor turned a disgruntled look on Natasha. “Why.”

      “I needed to feel in control,” Natasha admitted

      “Oh for Merlin’s sake you are twelve! Alright. I’ll take it back…when you go ask him out and prove me wrong!”

      Stephen flails, his wannabe intimidating move clearly having zero effect.

      “What are you even afraid of? It’s not like he’s going to say no.”

      “Oh really? And where do you keep your all-knowing crystal ball, hm?”

      “He gave you his phone number. Years ago!”

      “That was before - ”

      “Before what? Before you became a penniless hobo wizard without a paid job?”

      Pretty much. Stephen nods, keeping his stubborn flare.

      “If you think he gives a damn about that, then maybe you need to reconsider your opinion of the man.”

      “He doesn’t date men.”

      “His dating history says otherwise and then there’s his blatantly open bisexuality everyone knows about.”

      “And you know that because you’re his biggest fangirl, don’t you?” Stephen scoffs, sitting back down.

      “His number one stan. And damn straight I am!”

      “Well maybe you should go ask him out!”

      Wong’s grin melts back into his default stare as he leans back into the armchair. “Maybe I will,” he says, raising a daring eyebrow.

      “Yeah, right.”

      “Try me,” Wong threatens and goes back to sipping his tea.

      “You what?! Do you need a 50/50? Oh wait, it’s a yes or no question! How about phone a friend? Wong! Are we a) dating or b) not dating!” he yells.

      Mary briefly meets Cas and knows (actual) angels(minus s) are watching over Dean - never mind, make that the first meeting. I absolutely love their meetups. Just. Adorable. The relationship of Cas with the Winchester family, even though John is kinda unaware (As Mary and Dean can See and Hear Cas, while other hoomans including John can't, I'll mark it as Dean Sight). The photographs. The small gifts. It's so fucking adorable.
      I am incredibly worried though. I feel like Cas being kidnapped and tortured for a while was a part of an experiment from Zacharia. He is.. too interested in the connection Dean and Cas have. And his comment afterwards makes me feel like something is off about it.
      It's interesting to see how the other Angels react. Anna, understandable. She was jealous and was already close to Falling. Uriel.. we know he doesn't like humans. Zacharia.. cold interest, that's a bad thing. Cas knows to be in the lookout, but it won't be enough I think. Israfel on the other hand is very sweet. Watching over Dean for Cas while he was away, being interested in Dean and stuff about him even afterwards. Very cute.

      Also the thing about Demons getting stronger while Angels are getting weaker..... My brain is wondering if it might be something regarding the Soul Pieces. I mean Demons were humans, and all humans have these Soul Pieces. It could remain even afterwards?
      And maybe Cas gaining a Soul Piece is the beginning? To help Angels? Idk just a theory.

      Also for Dean, I'm fairly sure the long term one, the one Cas originally thought is for a Partner, is Sammy. I am uncertain about the short yet meaningful relationship Soul Piece one.

There’s too much at risk and there’s something out there, something that only he and Toothless can resolve.
