“You do understand that you’re caring for the thing meant to bring destruction and chaos to our world, right?” The woman asks, Phil looking behind him fondly as Techno grabs at the ends of his wings.
“He’s just a child.” Phil answers distractedly, humming as his wings get gently yanked at.
“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Summary
Ever since a monster killed his parents, Techno hasn't ventured beyond their little home in the woods. It's a lonely existence. And cold. And hungry. But it just doesn't feel right to enjoy things without them. It's what he deserves.
Because Techno is the monster that did it.
Or at least, that's how Techno feels until he meets other werewolves for the first time. A whole family of them, somehow horrifyingly kind despite their affliction. Are they foolish to try to invite Techno in, considering what he's done? Can he turn them down when the alternative is the endless isolation and fear?
Even as a bloodthirsty beast, Techno is weak to some terribly human impulses.

Techno is a newly turned werewolf who's on his own and set on keeping it that way. Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy are a werewolf pack that don't quite agree with him. But even they can't fix everything, and they have a loaded history of their own...

“Oh, I’m sorry, sorry, mate-” Phil reaches his hands out, Techno kicking his legs out, trying to scoot away.
“No, no-” Techno chokes out, heart slamming into his ribs. He’s going to die, he’s going to die here, he should’ve known, Phil was never human, he was never human at all-
“I should’ve told you earlier.” Phil smiles, kneeling down to Techno’s level. He’s not reaching out anymore, but he’s not leaving either. “Sorry again for the scare. That was a bit much, huh?”
Techno blinks. “What?”

Phil is not quite human, but he’s still very much a dad, with two children he loves very much.
Techno gets adopted into the family.
He was not informed of this.

Summary

One odd evening, Wilbur finds a hole in the wall. No debris, no misplaced bricks, just a simple hole in the wall, hollowed out as though it had been there all along. For the one chance to see the outside world, Wilbur drags his brother out to see the world they may never get to see again.
They find a little boy trapped in a net.
And the trail of hunters chasing after him.

Zuko was not a good shifter.
Azula could switch between her wolf and human skins between steps. Not Zuko, he needed several minutes before he even started the shift, and that was on a good day. If it had been Azula who Animal Control found in that alley, they would have walked away convinced that their eyes had played a trick on them. There had never been a dog there.
But Zuko's long transformation would have only revealed his kind to the world. Father may think he has no honor, but he wouldn't stoop so low as that. Even if that meant being dumped in animal shelter, trapped as much by the 24/7 security cameras as by the cage bars.
He had the worst luck.

"Come on guys!" Aang said as he lead his friends through the clamoring barks of the shelter. "I want to show you my favorite dog! He's a sweetheart."
Aang lead the pair to where a monstrous beast of a dog was growling with raspy barks loud enough to drown out the rest of the shelter. His bright white teeth contrasted against golden eyes and a bright red scar that stretched over the side of his face as he lunged against the cage door.
Sokka laughed nervously. "Did the word 'sweetheart' change meaning when I wasn't looking?" -

Once upon a time a hobbit took a fairy wife, founding an entire bloodline of hobbits carrying traces of fairy blood in their veins.Every so often this blood acts up, resulting in a hobbit being born who's just a little bit...different.
Such was the case with the birth of Bilba Baggins, daughter of Bungo and Belladonna Baggins. She's a little more wild than most, a little more adventurous, and a lot more prone to rescuing long lost dwarven princes from the clutches of vile Necromancers, befriending wargs and aiding in the reclamation of kingdoms from megalomaniac dragons.
Frerin, son of Thrain, son of Thror is perfectly fine with this. Well, maybe not the befriending wargs part...
