Summary
Uzumaki Naruto has never let his presentation as an omega define how strong or determined he can be. In fact, most people mistakenly believe him to be an alpha upon first meetings, with his scent being described as "very brawny for an omega." Growing up on the sandy beaches of his hometown, he has made a name for himself amongst competitive surfers.
After a long day of practice, Naruto found himself laying adrift on his surfboard. His fingers carded gently through the top of the waves as he looked up at the orange sky. It was pure peace for one who loved the water more than the sandy shore.
When something bumps his board and sends him careening into the current, he feels fear of the ocean for the first time. He thinks he's about to come face to face with a shark wishing to make him its next meal. But instead, he finds himself staring straight into the bright, patterned eyes of a creature he never knew existed. A creature who can take human form and claims Naruto is not who he's been led to believe he is his entire life.

Summary
“There,” Sasuke had some rice and tofu and tomatoes and peppers to feed the child with, setting it all to the dining table. “Eat, please.”
This was too much for Naruto’s feelings. He felt tears spilling down his face again at the look of proper food he knew he can’t eat. He looked down, so hungry it hurt, and tried not to shake with sobs.
“What is it? Eat, please, will you?”
Naruto didn't make a sound, but Sasuke could tell there was something awfully wrong. And the second he wanted to ask, what is it, is he hurt? Is the storm too much? Is he too scared? Is he cold? Does he need anything - some water, probably, that kid must have been thirsty! - but he never got the chance, because Naruto whispered a sad and broken: “I have no money.”
/Naruto is treated like a monster. Sasuke watches him struggle, and decides to intervene./

Summary
Peter Parker was back from the dead. At least that is what everybody told him. He'd been snapped out of existence until some sort of time travel and an active death wish by his mentor had saved him and the universe. Just your average sort of life for a 16 year old from Queens.
Peter comes back to find May has a husband and a kid. A new family he has to fit into. But he has done it before, he can do it again.
The only thing that feels solid is Tony: the Blip and fatherhood have mellowed him and Peter loves the bond they have now. He knows Tony would be there for him through anything. But Tony needs to focus on his own recovery - not small time Peter Parker problems. When things at home take a turn for the worse, Peter decides that he'll handle it himself. He is Spider-man. He's been to space and fought aliens. He can get through anything. After all, if May is happy, he is happy, right? Right?
