      A really interesting take on rebirth/trasmigration of the soul and dealing with regrets. Ajax is someone who has a lot of he feelings but is making the most of this situation, and meets a lot of people along the way. The lore of Childs is more in depth and everyone has a bit more to overcome. Plus lots of fun shenanigans, leaening to care and to be cared for, and a few little misunderstandings. <3!!!

    The story starts the night that he busts through time and appears in the bedroom of his teenage self. He's determined to help his younger self master magic, coach Derek about how to be a good Alpha, and most importantly, make sure that nobody dies.

    The story involves 2 Stiles. The older one, in his original timeline had been married to Derek. In the new timeline, he's in a relationship with Peter, who is roughly his age. The Sterek here is slowburn bc younger Stiles is still in high school.

    The pack tries whole-heartedly to be wholesome and domestic and normal, even though none of them are particularly good at it.

He's wearing a gas mask, but Chris can tell by the way his eyes crinkle around the edges, the way sun-burnt sand swirls in his irises, that he's smiling.

    Chris cocks his gun.

    "You killed my father," he says.

    "No offence, but he totally deserved it," the stranger agrees with cheerful solemnity.

    "What the hell are you doing in my home?" Chris demands. The kid is perched on a windowsill in Chris' office, as nonchalantly as if this were something he did every day, as if they were familiar.

    "I was just wondering," the kid speaks softly, fond amusement sewn through with a peculiar resignation, "how you'd feel about putting down some nazis?"
