Chapter Text
One day, Riot woke up feeling… weird. His head was pounding, and he felt like he just repeated the second ship of Bloodbath 69 times on repeat. He climbed out of his bed, and put some blankets and pillows in his UFO, entering it. He was having cramps, and didn’t know why he was sick, but he nevertheless did his best to keep his nausea down. He decided to call Bloodbath.
“Bloodbath?”
“Yes, Riot?”
“I don’t feel very well…”
“Did Cyclic hack you?”
Suddenly, Riot realized that he slept in an hour later than he was supposed to… or woke up at the right time, but he was too delirious and weak to realize that he was awake. Probably the latter because his mind was really foggy. Though, the mind fog was dissipating enough for him to concentrate on the call. Either way, he was still tired, and felt like someone shoved a spike in his stomach (which he wasn’t exactly sure where it was). Nothing dangerous or as painful as a human being getting impaled there, but it was extremely unpleasant nonetheless.
“No… I actually feel ill…”
“Do you feel like you’re going to crap yourself?”
“Yes…”
Riot jumped into the bathroom on his UFO, then he took a dump. I’m going to spare you the gory details because that would be too gross, but it was painful and like I already said, gross. When he was done, Riot flushed the toilet and washed his hands. Which is really obvious, but Riot could notice his nausea worsening, so he drank a glass of water to keep himself from tossing his cookies. Suddenly, Bloodbath’s mom came in.
“Brian!”
“Yes Mom. I’m calling Riot.”
“Why did you become the personification of his level?”
“It happened.”
“Anyways, let me tell you why he called me. You see, Riot came down with something really bad and I thought that Cyclic hacked him with his grimoire… but then Riot told me why he called me.”
Bloodlust heard all of them conversing, and walked in.
“Hey bro!”
“Leslie?”
“Wait, Bloodlust’s real name is Leslie? I thought it started with a B because your human name is Brian, Bloodbath.”
“Yeah…”
Riot crawled back into his UFO. He felt bloated and dizzy, but he tried his absolute best to stay focused on the call. After all, he didn’t want to make his own megacollab mad by zoning out. After all, Extreme Demons are easier to anger than ReTray is easy to beat.
“Ugh… I feel awful… Bloodbath, I don’t know what this is.”
“What do you mean 'this'?”
“The illness… that I have—”
*BURP~*
Riot noticed that he felt… gassy earlier in the call, which gave clues as to why he was so darn bloated. Feeling like a fully inflated balloon, it culminated in him loudly burping on call to somewhat reduce the pressure in his belly.
“You ok Riot?”
“I feel like a balloon right now…”
“Can Bloodbath come over to help?”
“Yes Bloodlust…”
Hanging up the call, Bloodbath came over to Riot’s house to take care of him. After all, it was a nice way to repay him for putting so much effort into verifying him. Riot could tell that his mind was getting jumbled up again, so he tried to keep himself calm. Meanwhile Bloodbath was walking into his bathroom.
“Riot?”
“I’m here Bloodbath.”
Riot tried to ignore the fact that his stomach was hurting more, which he failed at, letting out some gas out of his backside to reduce the pressure.
“Oh crap”
“Excuse you… on a scale of 1 to 10, how much pain are you in?”
“I’d say a 6… I feel awful…”
“Did you wake up any later?”
Riot could remember what it was like for the first hour he was awake. He felt like his body was melting into his bed, and his mind was TV noise. Unable to hear anything except radio static. Eventually, his delirium faded, and he opened his eyes.
“No… but I was overcame with delirium and weakness. I didn’t fully realize I was up until an hour later.”
Bloodbath realized how ill Riot was and that he would need a considerable amount of care to get better.
“Is your mind still… all mess up? Or foggy?”
“Yes. I feel really dizzy Bloodbath.”
Riot couldn’t really emphasize how dizzy and bloated he felt. In fact he was becoming more nauseous and feared that he might throw up.
“Uh have a bucket?”
“Sure, I figured you’d need it Riot.”
Bloodbath gave Riot a bucket to keep in his UFO and wait until he vomits. Riot could feel his stomach stretching uncomfortably to a greater extent than before and his head was still pounding. Sure enough, the pressure and nausea built up until he threw up several minutes later. Bloodbath poured him some water from the sink’s tap, so that Riot could stay hydrated and feel less like he beat 6 Extreme Demons back-to-back in only one attempt.
“Here’s some water.”
“Thanks Bloodbath”
Suddenly, Bloodbath received a text message. Sonic Wave sent this:
“Bloodbath, can I come over? 😊”
Bloodbath sent a reply to her:
“You can come over to Riot’s house.”
