The leather adorning the steering wheel creaked under his hands as his knuckles turned white.
“I must be out my mind.” He repeated, shaking his head. “In love with the goddamn babysitter.”
You turned to him in the passenger seat, blinking. You whispered, “In love with?”
He swallowed around nothing as he realized his mistake.
“Yeah, sweetheart.” Rick sighed, glancing at you out of the corner of his eyes. “In love with.”
“Stop the car.” A grin spread over your face and you reached over the center console to palm him through his jeans.
“You’re such trouble.” He laughed and did as you asked.
