She rose to her full height and made to turn on her heel, but he caught her by the chin with his gloved hand, forcing her to meet his eyes.
Dappled sunlight and leafy shadows kissed both of their faces as each regarded the other. He leaned down towards her, then, close enough to whisper a secret, but just shy of anything more intimate.
