   Roy looked over his shoulder to see Jamie had not followed his order to stay on the couch. Roy wasn’t cross with him, though. He was probably too curious and excited when he heard Keeley’s voice. He looked back at Roy with a question in his eyes and Roy shrugged.
   “Yeah, you can say hi to her.”

   Jamie smiled and bounded across the room. Roy felt himself tensing, unsure of how Keeley would respond to all of this, but she just squealed with delight.
