    Eventually he gave up hope. He'd be stuck here, chained up like a dog to the shed until the day he died. What a depressing, short life he lived. Having collapsed in his tiny makeshift shelter, unable to gather the strength or motivation to move anymore, he coughed wetly and turned his head away from the glaring sunlight that was making his migraine worse. With not else to do, he fell into a fitful slumber, resigned to his fate.
